BBJ: Take a look inside the new 229-room Marriott at Metro Centre in Owings Mills

The 229-key Marriott Owings Mills Metro Centre is getting its final touches this month off Interstate 795 in Northwest Baltimore County.

The 10-story, $70 million property is the newest anchor at the 45-acre Metro Centre that today holds office, retail and luxury apartments as well as a Baltimore County Public Library Branch and a campus of the Community College of Baltimore County.

The Marriott sign is expected to be installed at the site next week and the hotel is set to officially open Nov. 15, said Howard Brown, chairman of David S. Brown Enterprises Ltd., owner of the property and developer of Metro Centre. He signed a deal with Bethesda-based Marriott Corp. for the four-star, full-service hotel development in 2018.
